Comforts of home
I love being home! Don't you just love it when you're hungry and tired from school you have your maid or mom to prepare something for you?Or when you go to your kitchen and open the cabinets and ref you'd find something to eat and bring it to your room? Or just simply being able to go straight to your (clean!)room and open the TV or computer and relax? These are the things that I miss everytime I stay a whole week or more in my apartment near school. Yes, some may say that its cool to be able to stay away from home and enjoy your independence (No curfew, no nagging, no parents and annoying siblings!). But you do miss a lot of things too.
The hardest time to be away from home are days when you get sick and stressed out, and there is no one to take care of you but yourself. These are the times when I have to push myself and try to be strong or else I would only feel worse. "Mind over matter" is what I usually say to myself when I don't feel well, and yet I still have to cram for a project deadline. But what usually helps me get through hardtimes are the people who encourage me and make me see the good side of things that I must look forward to (thanks mom, yogi, and friends).
-Home is where the heart is-- In my case, it's the people whom I love and care for.
